WEEK 5: Sore. Sweaty. Slightly Smug. 

Let me paint you a picture.

Monday morning. Alarm goes off. I don’t hit snooze (shocking, I know). I sit up…and immediately regret every lunge I did on Sunday.

Friends, I am sore in places I didn’t know had nerve endings. My glutes feel like they’ve been personally attacked. But guess what?

I’m weirdly loving it.

The Comeback is Getting Real

Something's shifting. I caught myself flexing in the mirror unironically. There's a little shoulder curve. A faint bicep twitch. And my jeans? They zipped without a prayer.

I still swear under my breath during burpees. I still eye-roll through cool downs. But I’m showing up. Not just for the gym but for myself.

This Week’s Wins (Because We Celebrate All of Them)

  • Did not eat the kid’s leftover nuggets. Progress.

  • Booked a yoga class without cancelling. Who even am I?

  • Chose leggings over PJs — and actually left the house in them.

  • Hit a new PB on the rowing machine. Still hate it, but I’m faster now.

TYNA Gear Update

Also…BIG shoutout to my TYNA my leggings. Held me in when the core gave up. No see-through drama. And they survived three back-to-back washes. Legends.

Real Talk

It’s not about “bouncing back”. It’s about building forward. Stronger. Smarter. And with better snacks.
